| Cacheflow is back with a Bang!!! |
Hi Guys,
Well I am so sorry to have to tell you that Dave who was to take over Cacheflow for the coming future has found it impossible to leave Afghanistan and will be returning there after Christmas, it is a complicated story and me and Nicola will explain to you all as and when we get to see you on the boat.
Whilst we wish Dave all the best for the future and a safe retune over seas, life goes on over here.
Me and Nic were pleases to see some of our old fishing parties over the week-end and had a pretty good session on the Codling, not big by any stretch of the imagination but plenty of fish and even more missed bites, the Cod were really fussy at the weekend, but led to some great Mickey taking.
We will be taking more trips out next year, on Cacheflow and would love for you all to get in touch and experience the good old hospitality that you tell us you have been missing, our parties at the weekend said how they had missed us, which was very kind, and me and Nic did appreciate all the banter, and the lovely Christmas cards you have given us, and the bottles of drink you have also given to us both for Christmas, we feel very fortunate to have such great regular parties, and will promise to strive to get as many of you out next year as possible.
Well what’s new….. Our new Catamaran Vanishing Point is still working hard in Barrow in Furness on the wind farm work, she may be returning to Bradwell in April 2012, which will be when our other new Catamaran ..Vanishing Point II will be launched; yes we will have two 51 foot state of the art Catamarans, plus our beloved Interceptor Cacheflow, Wow!!! how lucky are we, three great boats which will total £1,000,000.00 spent, yes ..(One Million Pounds) and would hope at least one of the Cats will be at Bradwell so we can take you out on what will be the fastest, and best charter boat possibly in the Uk today, and that’s a fact, as one of our regulars that fishes with us came all the way to Cumbria to see the beast, and it was his lucky day because we were in early and we managed to get him through security and on to the Vanishing Point and took him out for a high speed run, and he just couldn’t stop smiling, he couldn’t believe he was travelling at almost 30 knots and couldn’t even feel the water beneath the boat, as he said it’s like your not even moving, it’s just unbelievably smooth..!
And I think it will not only shock all you guys that fish with us, but it will certainly surprise the rest of the skippers here when we give them a run out on her.
As I say it will be March before we will be taking any more charters, for two reasons, one being in January, I can’t believe I am saying this….. It will be my 60th birthday and Nicola is taking me away some where, and in February I have to go into hospital for an operation, and recover, so that’s Feb out the window, but should be firing on all cylinders by March and I know from the weekend all of you have already seen Nicola to get booked in once again, so to that end, thank you so much for all your loyal support, and patience,, and thanks once again the cards and presents you so kindly gave us, and just take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, and even though we are very disappointed that Dave will not be joining our team, we would like to wish him and all our boys over seas a safe and merry Christmas…… Tight lines every one….. Terry and Nicola.xxx (These kisses are from Nic)
